Hometown

Hello everyone!

I'm in Palembang now... the sky feels so bright here...
I'm sorry I cannot keep updating this blog.. because firstly I did not bring my transfer-file cable, I cannot transfer pictures and secondly there's no internet connection at my uncle's house rite now.

Btw, finally I went to UNSRI! Universitas Sriwijaya... I went to the Bukit one, not the Indralaya one. I think Indralaya will be nicer since it's older. I went there thank's to Junmico who's willing to fetch us and taking us there.. :) also with Angel, Tiffany, and Sylvianto.

There I met old friends, Silvi-Jun's gf, Margareth and Vinny.. :) So nice, we ate at the Pantai canteen at Unsri... Junmico's and Tony-Angel's 's bf recommendation "Soup Buah - The fruit juice" is very nice!!!!!!! :) only Rp. 6000.00 or app RM 2.00

In Palembang I stayed at my Uncle's house. This house used to be filled with so many children! but this holiday, sis Yulia, sis Fera, and bro Andry are busy in other city. Luckily sis Merry is here! Love her! :) They are my uncle and my aunty 's children!

My activities here are meeting friends, watching TV........ OH YA!!!!!!! Bad news, esp for C Merry, my brother and me.... NO INDOVISION anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! u know we used to watch many cartoon and anime here thru indovision from my uncle's tv set! hue... now's gone.... hue...

Okay continue, going to vihara, then going along with my uncle's fam to church's 25th anniversary, giving rice to some people (thank you so much Angel for your help... :) ), reading hai, Miiko!, C Merry's comics! Miiko is so cute! I'm thinking when someday I have a daughter, I will give her Miiko as her name, and may she can grow as a cheerful, sincere and kind-hearted child! just like how Miiko is :) hohohoho... :)

Oh ya in Palembang I ate super a lot! oh Gosh! I even ate a lot of meat... :(
I haven't watched Harry Potter the half-blood prince... hueeeeeee..... wanna watch it! oh ya, have you watched it?

I'm also offered a job teaching english in St. Ignatius Education Center in Palembang... well it is a tuition where my friends (most SMA Xaverius 1's students) learn math and science there. The teacher, koko Djoni is a very nice teacher! I admire him. I'd love to teach there since my holiday is very long... but I also have planned what I wanna do in Medan - learning piano, violin, yoga, ballet, driving, mandarin. Oh well, what do you think I shoud choose? On one side I will improve my english which is surely needed when I start my uni later.. and this is in my ex-tuition center which I adore. On the other side, I will do my hobbies, well the things that I couldn't do when I was a high schooler or the things that i want to do, well i dream to be able to do those things to be exact.. and actually many things to consider...

Please drop some comments bout that, kay? btw, how are you doing my friends? just started first day in Monash rite? how was it? how are you guys? also how are you for everyone reading this blog? :))))))))) I hope you're having a nice day... May you live a secure life happily, peacefully, and sincerely... :)

Laptop NO, Novel YES

Tomorrow, I'll be leaving for Palembang... :)

Oh ya just wanna inform that I will not bring my laptop along... then I won't be able to be online while waiting for the next plane... :( I'm sorry... :(

So, I will spend my time reading a novel For One More Day by Mitch Albom. I dun really read novels, but when I opened this book and read the first page of the first chapter, I knew that I want to read the whole book. I haven't read it all (that's why I'll bring it to the airport tomorrow...), but this story is really into me. It is about a man who's once a very great man, well I mean he really loved his life, fell apart when he lost...something... but I think it means everything to him. How he ignored his parent before.. and now he regret it... I dun know why but I feel a deep sympathy for him, it's the feeling like we're enduring the same thing... well not all the same.. but I could say that this man in the book and I are so composed about the past.. we're so... past tense...

Here are some reviews about this novel:

Mitch Albom sees the magical in the ordinary' Cecilia Ahern

‘Mitch Albom, in this new book, once again demonstrates why he is one of my favourite writers . . . FOR ONE MORE DAY will make you smile. It will make you wistful. It will make you blink back tears of nostalgia’ James McBride, author of THE COLOR OF WATER

‘Another very touching page-turner’ STAR magazine

‘A warm and tender tale’ IRISH EVENING HERALD

P.S. this novel was a gift of 7 month (I think, I dun really recall) anniversary from my sister to her boyfriend... Awwww, isn't that so sweet.. :)

I think before it gets worse, I will give the novel a cover... :P

Pictures, Kitties, and Blogs!

As promise, here the pictures!

...Peeping through my handphone...

Remember I've told you about straightening my hair for my sister's commencement day? Here is the result (on your left). It's awesome that technology can change people's appearance in minutes! :) But still, I prefer my natural curly hair (on your right). Well, I must say that my curl hair now is much better than it was before years ago. Maybe because of the technology or it is just that I have learned to accept and love my hair just the way it is...

Recently, I met so many cats! They are so cute! :)))) Our neighbor's daughter and son are animal lovers. They make me feel at ease cause they feed and nurture these strayed cats. Blessed their kind hearts! =) I can't because my grandma does not really like cats.. Yeah, my family does not really like cats. It's not that they hate them but it's just cats are maybe just quite not hygienic to them... but my Mom and Grandma kept a cat once when my Mom was a teenager i suppose... :)

Oh ya! I have put some pictures to note before this, but not all pictures , cause my sister haven't uploaded it yet...

Oh yes! I have finally decided to let people know about this blog.. So far, they who know this blog are my sister, my brother (does he know? unofficially I guess...), my Uncle, Noerma, Power, Billy, Adi, William, Jay, Yandi (...just known!)

Apparently...

Apparently...

...the temperature screening is canceled,

...Shinichi can play a violin, and it was "Amazing Grace",

...Amazing Grace means forgiveness,

...I put my hopes to high in some people,

...People just cannot always create a magic for you,
...but you can create it yourself every time,

...I love Love Me by Yiruma very much

...I dun wanna care bout finding someone very much anymore

...I wanna learn violin again

...If I could do ballet, play violin, piano, and reached my life-goals,
...I would become "a legend"

Point of View

Hello! I'm currently in Singapore... Tomorrow is my sister's graduation. She's having a slight fever right now... she's kind of worry... Can you believe that before entering the graduation hall, everyone will have to do the temperature screening? And the worst part is... let's say you have > 38 degrees Celsius - imagine that you have already your robe on and ready for one of the most important moment in your life - you will be banned from entering the hall, you are dismissed! Isn't that so cruel?

Well, I dun know, on one side i feel so bad if there is one to be dismissed in his/her day, but on the other side, well...preventing the wound is better than curing it, preventative action is needed to be done.. what do you think? H1N1 really is a worrying disease.

Oh ya, I have my hair straightened for my sis' graduation! Not really for the event itself, but yeah.. it's been quite a while that i haven't had my hair straightened! No need to worry that it's only temporarily-straightened.. Thank's to the technology! :)

My cousins Zarina, Razina, and Labib are having holiday in Medan together with their parents. Nice to know them... I'll tell bout them later... :P also bout my first ballet class with Emelya, my friend, it's very very very tough!!!!!!! Ok, I'll see you in my next storeis!

P.S. It seems that I miss KL already... maybe... the people there... I miss you guys!!!!!!!! :'(
