Thank You

Hey! Our family house's 3-year tenancy is over! Time sure travels fast...
Well, it also means that it's been 3.5 years I've moved over to Medan...
Reminiscing about the ordeal of moving during the first days, I really must say thanks to everybody of course, to Buddhas, Bodhisatvas, and to these several people:
  • Junmico, for waking me up every morning through his sms full of support.
  • my sister, for giving me her full support.
  • my father, for making everything easy for me (thank's Dad...).
  • my mother, for her prayers and comfort that everything's gonna be alright.
  • Leng2, for connecting me with people.
  • Guang Liang, for all his sentimental songs being played every morning for Daddy and me.
  • Mr. Narno, for being a trustworthy driver.
  • Mr. Franky, for being the best English teacher.
  • my brother, for being brave and self-reliant.
  • Mr. Ign Djony, for caring my education.
  • Power, for accompanying me seize upon the days.
  • Reiska, for being my first best friend at my brand new school and evironment.
  • Mr. Jumpa, for being passionate mathematics teacher.
  • and all my friends and  relatives that I cannot mention one by one;Yandi, Angel, Tiffany, Mervi, Lucy, Erwin, Bro Yohanes, Phoebe, sis Fang2, Bella, all dedicated teachers, C Winni's loveable pets: Dodo, and Chiko for always greeting me cheerfully..., ...., ...., ...., etc.., and all beings... =)
Thank you very much for being with me getting through the tough days. I know these tough days might be nothing compared to all tough days of the world... but to a vulnerable girl, a 16 year-old Devi who had never felt loneliness before, it means a lot...

Thank you...
I do appreciate for everyone's kindness and hospitality...
I thank you from the bottom of my heart...

Peace within Ourselves

When I see someone angry,
instead of becoming irritated and angry, too...
I become compassionate...
for the man who's angry is hurt inside and not at ease...
A peaceful man can never be angry...
adopted from The Wisdom of Silence by Achan Brahm

It is true... contemplating about it, I become angry easily when I have a lot of work to do, too busy with all my stuff, and finally become under pressure and stressed out (even sometimes without realizing it...). However, when I'm 'okay' with myself, I become more capable, and spacious... I start to be able to listen to someone's angry mumbling without ,too, following him being angry...
No wonder that some people say if we hope peace to prevail on Earth, first, we need to cultivate peace within ourselves.

This is one of six calligraphies done by Thich Naht Han... =)

Therefore...Let's do our best to cultivate peace within ourselves! for our own sake, and also for the sake of all sentient beings and the entire universe!... n_n Gambatte! =)

Separated ~ Usher

Yesterday, a student played this song...
I've known this song quite a long time ago, but never really paid attention to it...
Thank's to a friend of mine who showed me this slideshow from youtube... =)

Ms. Woi

Ms. Woi is leaving CIMP forever.... ='(
She will move somewhere... I'm not sure... somewhere in Johor Baru...
I wish I could meet her once again before I start my uni life...

Ms. Woi and I @ the CIMP graduation 2009 technical meeting

Few days ago, before knowing that Ms. Woi is moving out, I thought of her...
By doing, you'll know something better and this is what I felt and it makes me admire Ms. Woi even more.

Now that I am a tutor, there are times that I showed "I'm tired! Please, I'm not in mood now" -expression to my students who asked for my help in my recess time... Even, there is one time, after my last, the latest class of the day, at about 7.30pm, not only did I show the sort of expression, but also, "Dear, why d'ya ask me now? I can't think clearly at about this time..." slipped through my nonchalant mouth...
*Honestly, I really couldn't think so clear that time, even before that time because my mind was not very peaceful, and this is not the student's fault! so sorryy my dear...*

After several days, I contemplated about what I had done, and suddenly the reminiscene of Ms. Woi and I discussing the daily homework together popped up in my mind.
Almost everyday, after class, starting from the first day of MCV4U-Calculus and Vectors class, I took her recess time to discuss about my doubts about the subject, or even just to ask for her advice and chat about the things which I believe are no more important and enjoyable than her rest!
Awwwwwwww... now, come to think of it, I feel like crying... Thank you... Miss Woi!!!!!! I could never make it that well in CIMP without you.... ='(

Now, I'm still a tutor until the end of 2009 sem... With all my spirit and enthusiasm, I'll still give my best and teach all my students whom I really thankful that they have faith in me... =)
And, plus... one more thing, I'll do my best to follow Ms. Woi's example being a teacher wholeheartedly, not only teach, but do all the best that she can and try to complete the circle of love and respect between teachers and students... =)
Ms. Woi, I wish you happiness and luck! =)
I'm perfectly sure that you'll do well wherever you are...
Once again, I... thank you... from the bottom of my heart...

Daily Reflections

People are always changing-
how can anyone be yours to have and hold forever?

We can only love in the moment.
We can only "seize" the moment.

But do not be misled...
this moment is also not for you to have and hold forever.
It slips through your hands
like sand falling through clasped hands.

If the passing is going to happen whether you like it or not,
why not learn to enjoy it?
Enjoy change,
learn to be one with change.
Enjoy love in the moment.

Cited from The Daily Enlightenment 1 - Reflections for Practising Buddhists

PS. In this book, I've found several information from Bro. Shen Shi'an (TDEditor) for all who are interested in reading The Daily Enlightenment's reflections.. =)

Fruit Sandwich Cake

My sister's boyfriend's birthday is drawing near. And what I admire and adore from this couple is that they always try their best to spend their times in some (many I guess... isn't that so sweet?? Aawwhh...*squeal*) special ways together whenever they have events to commemorate. =)

Learning that David dislikes sweet foods, this time, my sister prepares a handmade card and plans to make him sandwiches with his favorite half-boiled eggs. Speaking about sandwiches, I directly suggest her to make him a fruit sandwich cake instead, which I've read (and somehow wish to prepare it for a special bf later some time in my life... GG!!!... =P) from Delicious! - a comic by Yui Ayumi & Miyuki Kobayashi.

Okay, giving you a hint, Fruit Sandwich Cake is actually sandwich spread with whip cream all over its suraface area and inside filled with various pieces of well-cut fruits. Unlike the normal sandwiches, this fruit cake sandwich has piles of 6 or more bread/toast slices. So, it's a tall sandwich filled with fruit! =D

Here is the illustration of the sandwich:
Isn't that tantalizing??? Yummy! :D

Oh well, my sister asked me to try out the recipe that I've copied from the comic, and with very limited ingredients that I have... I... somehow... try it out... so, sister... wanna know how it turns out?? Just read out my blog! =D

Okay, I made it into like this:

But wait! I believe that yours is gonna be more attractive and tempting! This is because I ONLY prepare 3 slices, and I DON'T have any whip cream, and I ONLY have apples and papaya...

As the substitute of the whip cream, I use blue band margarine and let caster sugar spread and stick on the margarine layer.
And, I don't think I can finish all the 6 slices! that's why I only prepare 3 slices!
Also, too bad that the sandwich only filled with two kinds of fruit, with many colourful fruits! It will be more eye-catching! and of course tounge-catching! LOL! :D

Conclusions and Advices after trying this out:
  1. Jie, if u don't wish to use thick whip cream to cover all the cake (it means that you still can see the sandwich, the surface of the bread slices), do cut more or less 3-5 mm (not too wide like in the pict) from the edge of each sides of the sandwich because it's much nicer to see the layers of colourful fruits instead of the plain bread slices.
  2. But, if u choose to cover all the sandwich with whip cream... Do keep it a secret that it's actually a sandwich! Decorate it with cherry, chocolate chips, almonds (I think almonds or other types of nuts will do since he does not like sweets), sunflower seeds, crumbled cookies like oreo or anything that usually sit nicely on a birthday cake. While spreading the cream, spread it thick and naturally not too orderly, so it will blend with the nuts nicely. Do prepare candles! and wait until he cuts for the first cake (or maybe you should do it for him cause it's quite a fragile cake, use moist sharp knife!), he'll be surprised that it's no ordinary cake! It's fruit sandwich cake specially made by you, especially for him! =))))) Aaawwhh... co cuit.... :D ROTFL!
  3. Do put it in the fridge for at least 30 mins before serving! There's no things worse than serving a fresh Fruit Sandwich Cake with NOT-fresh fruits inside it! And hey, it taste good! when it's cool! The fruits feel so fresh, and the cool sensation prevents the sweet whip cream causing you to become satiated and stuffed!
  4. Don't cut the fruit too thin! you won't be able to taste it to the fullest! Well, not too thin, not too thick, just right. Maybe it's about 3mm thick?? or if you wanna make the cake looks taller, maybe 5mm thick? but when you arrange the fruits, arrange it in a packed position so that when you cut it, the sandwich won't tilt due to large-spacious holes between the fruits! Ooopps! :P
  5. Try choosing fruits with different kinds of texture and taste. Like the soft watery papaya, and crispy sour apples combine very well. Or else, just choose his favorite fruit! and I think, do include watery type of fruit maybe like kiwi, etc. because moisture in a cake plays important role in indulging your appetite! and the best is, when the watery fruit is served cool, you will get the best freshness out of fruits! =D
  6. About the bread, I'm not sure about using toast, because it will be difficult to cut it (I haven't tried it but it seems to be so...). If you insist on using the toast, maybe not too crispy and hard, just a light toast just to get the tasty colour! :D

Well, this is it! Fruit Sandwich Cake ala Chef Devi! (imitating Chef Farrah Queen... Kikiki... evil laugh... ;D)

~Good Luck! :)))))))))))))))))))) I'm waiting for the follow-up stories! :D~

Missing You

Missing You

In the middle of the night
when all melancholy feelings begin to rise

There's silence Duo from a Windancer...

I remember you
when Pastorale from Song of a Secret Garden vibrates through the air

Your favorite classical music...

Like an old-opened diary
Our memories flow like a Serenade to Spring

Do you remember the Steps...?

The innocent Hymn to Hope which sometimes may end up In Our Tears
hoping it remember The Promise it made

...of The Rap in the Celebration?

I may be a Dreamcatcher
but you are my Dawn of a New Century

Could it be the Poeme of Moving that they're trying to say...?

The mist of the rain
flowing gently like Elan in the Chaconne story

...Passacaglia to Sigma...

Sona, is it just a sonnet or sonata?
Always, You Raise Me Up with all Earthsongs you know

and here - I blow a brand new breeze of missing you - only - for you...

29 Oct 2009

*this prose or u can say a poetry was inspired by all (I hope) songs from the Artists of "Secret Garden". These instrumental songs are very well played! For classical music lovers, I think it's a good thing to listen to. Though, I don't know the genre of these music. Sorry... :( Btw, the missing you part?? I don't know, the idea just popped up when I hear the music.. =P LoL*

Falling in Love with Classical Music

Listening to Chaconne by Vitali right now...
just realized how 'sugoi' it is... :)
I wanna play violin like that someday...
but the most important thing, I want to play music to enjoy it and make people enjoy 'the gift of music'! :D

Chaconne,
its dramatic melodies,
changed to be a very smooth tones of silent night, gentle dip of water,
telling a story of its own

Falling in love with classical music?
I guess it's not that bad..
just realized that classical music is like the other music which tells tales,
but it's just on its own way of..

variations... surprises... gentleness...singing tunes ...
just love how it is... :)

A note from my notepad.. I suppose it was written some time on 04th September 2009

Books and Classes

I've just got this book from ii Ling2, my mother's friend...

The Miracle of Enzyme by Dr. Hiromi Shinya, very worth reading for they who long for long-healthy life! :)

Even though, I haven't read and devoured the whole pages of this book, I'll make sure that I'll do.

Just wanna share 'bout several classes that I'm in charge..
chem 1n5 : the students are just so sweetttttttt...... :D When I told them that I wudn't be teaching them again, they texted me 'farewell msg' ... Thank you dear... :D
P.S. in fact, I'll be teaching u again! :D

chem 2n5a: this is the most quiet class, and I can get such a serious atmosphere that I need. I love teaching this class, because it's very in order.. :D

chem 2n5b: I must say that this all-girl class is quite noisy, so the material needed to be explained is quite far behind. However, I'll do my best! :D

IELTS g1: So far, this class is my favorite among all other IELTS classes. It looked like that they enjoyed Insomnia by Craig David! And one of the students is so cute!!!!!! :D Tiffany knows who... hahaha... but over all these people are fun! :D Love this class! :D

IELTS g3: This is the toughest class, because it's the biggest class! Actually, I must say sorry to this class. "I'm sorry... " This is the first class for every materials that I teach, in other words, a very fresh and new experience. And because of that the teaching style is quite awkward sometimes... I'm so sorry guys... but thank you very much for trusting me... I'll do my very best then. Oh ya, in this class there's a guy who looks like William! Ah, they just give the same atm! :D

IELTS g4: Last class but no least... This class is all-boy class. My senior said that they were naughty boys.. but they've done pretty well. This class is enjoyable for such a small class. :D

I'm sorry, I must be off now.. gotta teach 1n5 in 2 mins...

Hello.. just wanna tell you that

...there are a lot of things that I want to write...
... but once I sat in front of the PC...

...I simply don't know what to write...
...Sometimes, I consider it's very unnecessary thing to tell...
...Sometimes, I think 'the desire' to brag the things in my mind has just gone away...
...Sometimes, maybe it's I who are too lazy to organize this train of thoughts into words...

...anyway, what do you think?...

Another skeptical mind of me

Gan en...

Yesterday, all teachers and staff were gathering to have all-together-break-fasting dinner, and also in this opportunity, we celebrated Trevina's 8th birthday together! :) She was so cute wearing all-white dress with artificial yellow flowers sewed to the squared-neck design. Audry wore dark pink dress. They both wore butterfly wings, and they carried a fairy sticks! :)

Thank you, Trevin, for the first-cakes! :) I'm so pleased! :) Yeah, now I'm Yours by Jason Mraz is being played in this internet cafe! :D and wait, I met one of the IELTs students here! Oh no! My image as a teacher... :( hahah.. the student is called Farandy. He has a very good English! I'm sure he is better than me. And from what I heard from his juniors, he is in the chemistry Olympiad! Wow, so cool! :D ahhahahahah, I wish I was 2 years younger.. hahahah.. jk...

Ooops, my time is almost up...gotta teach in 10 minutes later... Ciao! :D
Oh ya, don't forget to be grateful everytime! Thank's to Master Cheng Yen who always reminds me to be grateful.
May all beings and the universe be happy and well! :D Gan en... :)

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows

Have just read Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows except for the last 3 pages. It was awesome! Just can't stop reading it...

The other day, as I had promised to Trevina, the smart cute little girl, I brought my violin to show to her and her little sister, Audry. They were so curious to touch and play it. They were so adorable.

Anyway, the teaching activities are going well, even met some old friends there. I hope I can be a good teacher. :D

May all beings be happy.. :)

Happiness is Here and Now

Happiness is here and now,
I have dropped my worries.
Nowhere to go, nothing to do,
no longer in a hurry.

Happiness is here and now,
I have dropped my worries.
Somewhere to go, something to do,
but not in a hurry.

It's a song from the Plum Village... Nice one! :D

Hometown

Hello everyone!

I'm in Palembang now... the sky feels so bright here...
I'm sorry I cannot keep updating this blog.. because firstly I did not bring my transfer-file cable, I cannot transfer pictures and secondly there's no internet connection at my uncle's house rite now.

Btw, finally I went to UNSRI! Universitas Sriwijaya... I went to the Bukit one, not the Indralaya one. I think Indralaya will be nicer since it's older. I went there thank's to Junmico who's willing to fetch us and taking us there.. :) also with Angel, Tiffany, and Sylvianto.

There I met old friends, Silvi-Jun's gf, Margareth and Vinny.. :) So nice, we ate at the Pantai canteen at Unsri... Junmico's and Tony-Angel's 's bf recommendation "Soup Buah - The fruit juice" is very nice!!!!!!! :) only Rp. 6000.00 or app RM 2.00

In Palembang I stayed at my Uncle's house. This house used to be filled with so many children! but this holiday, sis Yulia, sis Fera, and bro Andry are busy in other city. Luckily sis Merry is here! Love her! :) They are my uncle and my aunty 's children!

My activities here are meeting friends, watching TV........ OH YA!!!!!!! Bad news, esp for C Merry, my brother and me.... NO INDOVISION anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! u know we used to watch many cartoon and anime here thru indovision from my uncle's tv set! hue... now's gone.... hue...

Okay continue, going to vihara, then going along with my uncle's fam to church's 25th anniversary, giving rice to some people (thank you so much Angel for your help... :) ), reading hai, Miiko!, C Merry's comics! Miiko is so cute! I'm thinking when someday I have a daughter, I will give her Miiko as her name, and may she can grow as a cheerful, sincere and kind-hearted child! just like how Miiko is :) hohohoho... :)

Oh ya in Palembang I ate super a lot! oh Gosh! I even ate a lot of meat... :(
I haven't watched Harry Potter the half-blood prince... hueeeeeee..... wanna watch it! oh ya, have you watched it?

I'm also offered a job teaching english in St. Ignatius Education Center in Palembang... well it is a tuition where my friends (most SMA Xaverius 1's students) learn math and science there. The teacher, koko Djoni is a very nice teacher! I admire him. I'd love to teach there since my holiday is very long... but I also have planned what I wanna do in Medan - learning piano, violin, yoga, ballet, driving, mandarin. Oh well, what do you think I shoud choose? On one side I will improve my english which is surely needed when I start my uni later.. and this is in my ex-tuition center which I adore. On the other side, I will do my hobbies, well the things that I couldn't do when I was a high schooler or the things that i want to do, well i dream to be able to do those things to be exact.. and actually many things to consider...

Please drop some comments bout that, kay? btw, how are you doing my friends? just started first day in Monash rite? how was it? how are you guys? also how are you for everyone reading this blog? :))))))))) I hope you're having a nice day... May you live a secure life happily, peacefully, and sincerely... :)

Laptop NO, Novel YES

Tomorrow, I'll be leaving for Palembang... :)

Oh ya just wanna inform that I will not bring my laptop along... then I won't be able to be online while waiting for the next plane... :( I'm sorry... :(

So, I will spend my time reading a novel For One More Day by Mitch Albom. I dun really read novels, but when I opened this book and read the first page of the first chapter, I knew that I want to read the whole book. I haven't read it all (that's why I'll bring it to the airport tomorrow...), but this story is really into me. It is about a man who's once a very great man, well I mean he really loved his life, fell apart when he lost...something... but I think it means everything to him. How he ignored his parent before.. and now he regret it... I dun know why but I feel a deep sympathy for him, it's the feeling like we're enduring the same thing... well not all the same.. but I could say that this man in the book and I are so composed about the past.. we're so... past tense...

Here are some reviews about this novel:

Mitch Albom sees the magical in the ordinary' Cecilia Ahern

‘Mitch Albom, in this new book, once again demonstrates why he is one of my favourite writers . . . FOR ONE MORE DAY will make you smile. It will make you wistful. It will make you blink back tears of nostalgia’ James McBride, author of THE COLOR OF WATER

‘Another very touching page-turner’ STAR magazine

‘A warm and tender tale’ IRISH EVENING HERALD

P.S. this novel was a gift of 7 month (I think, I dun really recall) anniversary from my sister to her boyfriend... Awwww, isn't that so sweet.. :)

I think before it gets worse, I will give the novel a cover... :P

Pictures, Kitties, and Blogs!

As promise, here the pictures!

...Peeping through my handphone...

Remember I've told you about straightening my hair for my sister's commencement day? Here is the result (on your left). It's awesome that technology can change people's appearance in minutes! :) But still, I prefer my natural curly hair (on your right). Well, I must say that my curl hair now is much better than it was before years ago. Maybe because of the technology or it is just that I have learned to accept and love my hair just the way it is...

Recently, I met so many cats! They are so cute! :)))) Our neighbor's daughter and son are animal lovers. They make me feel at ease cause they feed and nurture these strayed cats. Blessed their kind hearts! =) I can't because my grandma does not really like cats.. Yeah, my family does not really like cats. It's not that they hate them but it's just cats are maybe just quite not hygienic to them... but my Mom and Grandma kept a cat once when my Mom was a teenager i suppose... :)

Oh ya! I have put some pictures to note before this, but not all pictures , cause my sister haven't uploaded it yet...

Oh yes! I have finally decided to let people know about this blog.. So far, they who know this blog are my sister, my brother (does he know? unofficially I guess...), my Uncle, Noerma, Power, Billy, Adi, William, Jay, Yandi (...just known!)

Apparently...

Apparently...

...the temperature screening is canceled,

...Shinichi can play a violin, and it was "Amazing Grace",

...Amazing Grace means forgiveness,

...I put my hopes to high in some people,

...People just cannot always create a magic for you,
...but you can create it yourself every time,

...I love Love Me by Yiruma very much

...I dun wanna care bout finding someone very much anymore

...I wanna learn violin again

...If I could do ballet, play violin, piano, and reached my life-goals,
...I would become "a legend"

Point of View

Hello! I'm currently in Singapore... Tomorrow is my sister's graduation. She's having a slight fever right now... she's kind of worry... Can you believe that before entering the graduation hall, everyone will have to do the temperature screening? And the worst part is... let's say you have > 38 degrees Celsius - imagine that you have already your robe on and ready for one of the most important moment in your life - you will be banned from entering the hall, you are dismissed! Isn't that so cruel?

Well, I dun know, on one side i feel so bad if there is one to be dismissed in his/her day, but on the other side, well...preventing the wound is better than curing it, preventative action is needed to be done.. what do you think? H1N1 really is a worrying disease.

Oh ya, I have my hair straightened for my sis' graduation! Not really for the event itself, but yeah.. it's been quite a while that i haven't had my hair straightened! No need to worry that it's only temporarily-straightened.. Thank's to the technology! :)

My cousins Zarina, Razina, and Labib are having holiday in Medan together with their parents. Nice to know them... I'll tell bout them later... :P also bout my first ballet class with Emelya, my friend, it's very very very tough!!!!!!! Ok, I'll see you in my next storeis!

P.S. It seems that I miss KL already... maybe... the people there... I miss you guys!!!!!!!! :'(

Stories That I Dream to Have... hohoho... Bet you wanna have one also! :P

Mmm well, These stories are basically some cool stories which I think will make all of us say..."Awww... so sweet! :)"

Okay let's talk about it, the very first come to my mind is one of the chapter from The Cardcaptor Sakura Story... if you read it, do u remember in of the chapters, there is one when they hand-made the teddy bear doll. It is said that when you make the 'kuma' (bear) yourself, then give it to someone that you like, you'll be together forever! Awww so sweet... :))))

Oh ya from this story I also learnt that the birthday of the teddy bear or any doll is when you tie a ribbon and then give name to that doll... =)

Btw, notice at the bottom left hand side corner, there's a hand-made teddy bear by Shaoran. At that moment, he's confused whether to give it to Sakura or not... *Just give it to her, Shaoran!! Gambatte!!!*

Next one is the story from Detective Conan! Wow! Actually there are a lot of cool stories here! Hueee... want one! hehehee.... :)

Kay... you must have known Shinichi Kudo right? Kyaaaa.. He is awesome! Hehe... but I prefer Heiji though... sorry Shin... (wth? hahaha...)

A lot of stories bout them.. Aaa I dun know where I should start to write...
mm Well, okay.. do you watch Detective Conan The Movie?

One of it is: Captured in Her Eyes. In this movie, Ran was having memory loss due to shock! the lil Conan was trying to protect her no matter what... Awww, so envious! :) hoho...
And the best part is at the beginning of this movie, there's a scene of Ran's memory when Shinichi took her to the middle of the area of the Funland, there's nothing there, but then Shinichi started to count down from 10 to 1, and guess what??? Suddenly the fountain bursted up surrounded them, just both of them... Isn't that so sweet.... :)))) Ran then gained back her memory at the end of the movie when Conan got down the culprit in that very spot and event, the fountain! :)

PS: The first picture is when Shinichi tried to propose Ran at the very same spot when his father proposed his Mom! xD
The second picture is when lil Shinichi explained why he's able to find the lost lil Ran in the middle of hide and seek game. Ran said, "So it means you're looking at me all the time... see your face is blushing," and the blushing Shinchi said, "I'm not blushing, it's just because of the sunset!" Awww... c'mon you are, Shinichi! :))))

I also like Heiji and Kazuha! They really made a gud couple. There's also in the movie: Crossroads... I forgot something with crossroads... in this story Heiji finally found out that Kazuha was his first love! ^^

There's also when Heiji, Kazuha, Ran, Conan went to Mermaid Island (Pulau Putri Duyung). There's one nice scene when Kazuha and Heiji were in a very dangerous spot! They were hanging on the high clift! One of Heiji's hand hold on to a branch of a tree, and the other hold on to Kazuha's hand. In order to save Heiji, Kazuha hurt Heiji's hand with an arrow so that he would let her hand go because the branch could not hold two persons-burden. But you what happend next? Heiji, still holding Kazuha's hand, tremblingsaid, "If you ever moved again, I'll kill you" In the end he said to himself, "How can I ever let this woman die?" but still he's nonchalantly hiding his wound and teased Kazuha as always... =)

The next one is from Itazura Na Kiss, Noerma's and my favorite romantic Anime! :)

Okay just a short review of this Anime, The boy, Naoki is a handsome genius! He can do (almost) everything right! He's cool! and the girl, Kotoko, is a klutz! but she's so sincere and innocent (in my opinion)... Naoki was going to be a doctor, as his wife (finally Kotoko!! I'm happy for you!) Kotoko wanted to become a nurse. Oh ya the lil girl in the picture is their daughter, Kotomi! :)

Then there's a time when Kotoko was having an important ceremony for all nurses could have there: The capping ceremony. The nurse-candidates will be granted a nurse cap and recite the Nightingale Pledge. Kotoko was dreaming that Naoki would come to her with roses! just like this...

But too bad, Naoki was having an academic meeting out of town that day and would stay there for 1 or 2 days... Poor Kotoko... Oh well there's nothing she can do... she just tried her best!
Then after the ceremony was over, Kotoko didn't feel like going home, his dear husband was not home anyway. She just sat alone inside the church where the ceremony took place.

Suddenly! Oh you can guess it... Naoki opened the door, caught the last train to come back. Kotoko was still in a daze while Naoki explained to her that he was sorry that he could not come with roses as she wanted because all the florists had closed. As expected from her, Kotoko was so happy, jumped to his arms and cried happily, she said she did not care whether he's late, or with or without roses... when he's here, it made her world already.. Then Naoki listened to Kotoko's recital again and again...

PS: if finally i become a nurse one day, may this wonderful experience cud also happen to me... :)

writing notes

I feel kind of lonely recently...
So when I have nothing to do, I just typed what I felt like to write on my mobile phone's drafts.
Here's one of it:

28-Jun-2009 7:03 pm

Smell of the rain
Melody of the piano from that very player
Flashes of memories of the certain tiles on that room
The night's silence
The ordinary girl's sweet dream
The big mirror reflecting
The colorful gradation paintings under the bright light
And the snoring of the weary lil' girl couse of school work and the phone ready to help her to keeps her company with some respondents

...still fresh somewhere in the corner of my mind...

after some nonchalant years

The others?? I will write it in some other time...

I wish I could find one of my poetry "If I Really Had to Go" which I wrote for Love Poetry Competition at school... Oh well, I should keep it well... :(

Very Early!

Shh... dun tell my parents that I do not sleep tonite! I will be killed later... (of course connotation) hohoho...
This morning, I will be going to Brastagi... a mountain near Medan.. a bit chilly place, so it's a perfect destination for medan's citizen or its vicinity to drop by in such scorching weather..
It's 3.48am right now while my friends and I will be meeting up at my friend's house at 5am. So I decided not to sleep, and ended up (forcing) Power to accompany me, chatting to kill time.. hoho.. It's been quite a while we haven't chat for nothing like this... hoho... :)
And I bet he's sleeping rite now, or may be not, err, maybe yes. Though he told me once that he's also a light-sleeper but considering his condition just now, he must have been falling asleep rite now. (is the grammar correct? I'm weak in this things) I wonder what his face looks like when he sleeps... Crap! suddenly the One Missed Call ringtone is played frm my handphone. It's quite spooky! :\
I've been re-reading Detective Conan. It's awesome! :) and the characters are very cool! :))))
Yeah! My sister will be coming tomorrow! I'm gonna give her a big hug! :)
I wonder how falling in love rightly feels... May be I forgot already how... can you tell me? never mine, I'll ask my dear Angel later... een, I miss you... =)
P.S. I dun know why this PC does not let me to let my enter key work!

Driving is Awesome!

Yesterday, I had my first driving lesson! It was awesome! It's fun! :)
Me and my brother were taught by our family driver, Mr. Narno...

Yeah! I am learning gear*is it gear? leave me comment for the right word okay? :P* 1 and 2. My brother has already in several steps ahead of me.. he's learning how to drive in climbing road and driving reverse.. I guess.. :P *sorry my driving vocabolary is extremely limited... *

The other day, I also had my hair cut.. hue.. it's quite shorty and curly... Creambath once in a while felt so good! :)

I also came across to several TV programmes that colours my sore holiday...
  1. The Missing Lyrics ~ TransTV : such a funny and fun reality show! In this show, you' ll sing songs and guess the missing lyrics, yeah, pretty predictable from its title eh?

  2. OB Shift 2 ~ RCTI : I dun know that there is shift 2 already! hahah... This is a very fresh and fun comedy show from Indonesia! Good work guys! Keep it up! :)

  3. Seputih Cahaya Rembulan ~ DAAI TV: This is very good taiwan-drama, and what makes all the drama broadcasted by DAAI TV the best is that all these drama are based on true stories. It showed how life is like the melody of the songs... how sadness and happiness flow beautifully thru the melody of life... You should watch it, sometimes it's very touching how a person could endure such pain and suffering, and stand up, and inspired all of us.. You should watch it! When you're touched and cry, you won't cry because of the 'made-up' stories from the author, but you'll cry for a person's true life touching experience.. and you'll be inspired by a 'real' brave man on Earth! Anyway, Seputih Cahaya Rembulan is nice, also you can watch, Kisah Tak Terbatas, Ketika Gladiol Bersemi, Di Balik Suatu Cobaan, Menemukan Kembali Kasih Sayang, and many more.. you can check it out here: http://www.daaitv.co.id/ It's such a shame that DAAI TV is only broadcasted in Medan and Jakarta through out Indonesia.
  4. Naruto ~ Indosiar, GlobalTV: aa.. u know.. it's Shippuuden already! :D
  5. mmm... many more I guess, just checking out here, checking out there through all channels.. :P
Really hate to say this but... Oh gosh! this different methods of blogging tonite pissed me off... :(
I dun know why I get so irritated easily lately, and I dun like it, and it makes me irritated even more... please help me...

Frenz Nite! =)

You are Invited to FrenZ Nite!
Date : Wednesday, 3rd June 2009
Venue : B- er... anyway it's Jay's block... level 6, Palm Ville
Dress code : anything u wanna wear... =)

actually there is no such invitations... hahah.. just for fun!

Frenz nite is the nite that all of us looking forward to... especially for me and Noerma... or well maybe myself... coz I was going to leave back to my home country for 6 months... T.T

How should I start... mmm... okay let's start when it was i think around noon... when I woke up from my bed (I woke up real late! :P) and there was a msg from Noerma asking for confirmation of this Frenz Nite.

I called her right away, also made a phone call to Jay who was apparently not available that time (because his parents visited him), also to Gradi, and woke Tutu up! *sorry... Tutu...*

Oh well, decision was made! BBQ is canceled coz ya... we forgot to book the BBQ area in the first place! oh well... so we just changed it into indoor BBQ, not really indoor BBQ, but just bought something to eat and relaxed! *actually I prefer this way.. :P lucky me! :)*

Noerma rushed back from KL. We planned to go shopping together. The shopping was with Tutu, William, and all of them as planned, but well, things did not really go according to plan at first... because almost all of them fell asleep! ZzZz.... Poor them, this day was the day they just flew back from Pekanbaru to Malaysia...

Being a bit disappointed, Noerma and I met Tutu at the Pyramid after all, but we separated and Noerma and I just strolled in Pyramid, having our herbal egg at Eu Yan Shang.. and also stopped at The Body Shop.

I was so hungry, and we stopped at RM cafe. What an unique name! :) I decided here because, I mistakenly saw that this cafe was so small, and there was a grandma sitting there alone... awww.. . so sad... =( Well, let's eat here to help them! =)

But then, while having dinner, we found out that this cafe was actually huge! and later, it was crowded with customers... oh well... gud for them then! =)

While eating, Noerma and I (of course) chit-chatting, and wondered whether our friends really wanted to have this Nite or it was just us who were overexcited... It's kinda sad... =(
but... this guys... (alphabetical order... just for fun!) Adi, Billy, Gradi, Jay, Tutu, William... they did not turn us down... =)... and that's why I do appreciate them... =D

After dinner, Noerma and I went to The Body Shop (again..) to buy the perfume... to be honest, I never bought such things for myself. Like my mother, I am the most practical woman ever! :) hahaha... (for more info, u can check my sis' blog: unguitarized.blogspot.com, read Mother's Day!) We bought mandarin citrus flavour for the eu de toilete... It smelled fresh! too bad, Noerma could not use her RM35 rebate for that... (btw, if you also wanna get RM35 rebate, try sign up for The Body Shop member card :P)

O-o I needed to rush back, couse I had my last singing session for this year.. coz I'm going back.. hiks... Then, together with sis Carolina, I went to MOD singing session, while Noerma and Gradi cs went for shopping... :)

I've told Noerma to buy frying oil or at least margarine... and It seemed that she forgot... Lucky, next to the building where we had singing session was Carrefour and I could get corn oil... but when I reached the venue, the kitchen to be exact... Tutu had already brought it together with the frying pan and all the plates... Thx Tutu! =)

It was so fun to learn that everyone was together in the kitchen in a while. Tutu would make a great chef, that he would! =) Good try, Noerma and Billy! The sossage looked somewhat black, but It was fun! =) anyway, almost everything in the kitchen was left for Tutu to be in charge...

While waiting, some of us playing games, some online, some just chit-chatting, some trying out new clothes, made post, and laughed! some playing guitar, some just sitting on the sofa, laid-back, some folding (is it the word for melipat) clothes, some even roasting marshmallow with the fire igniter! *okay, u guys can guess who's doing what right? heheh... xD*

We're all taking pictures, and tripod also came out! Wow! :)

After eating the 'extra' dinner that Tutu made us, we just chit-chatting, gossiping, with Jay si ***... hohoho...

Then washing dishes time! Couse Noerma and the others were so busy with the cooking, it's time for us to busy for the washing the plates time! Billy, Adi, Tutu, and me cleaned the dishes, and to my surprise they could work very well, I mean on house chores! Good work, guys! =)

After that, we were doing our own activities and chit-chatting. One by one fell to sleep, starting with Tutu, then Gradi, then Noerma... Billy, Adi, William, and I were left. We talked abou many things. I finally found that actually Billy, Gradi, and I took NTU entrance exam at the same place! hahaha... what a coincidence! :)

btw, who captured this??

I also learned that Billy was a gangster back then! ahhahaa.... :D They also liked to play basketball... and ah! I wish that I could hear Billy's stories about his story! too bad, he prefered to keep it for himself... =( *Billy, when you're ready to tell it to us, tell Devi also okay! ;)*

We also shared a little about our family, friends, Girl's Generation, hahaha... and songs also bout future life! And oh ya!!! this time was when my blog was eventually go public.. It was because Billy's keen eyes, and Noerma and my carelessness... T.T

Then, Billy surrendered, also Adi... William and I left.. and we just chatted through the dawn. Oh well, I am not a type of person who can fall sleep easily, and when I saw Noerma that time, sleeping on the sofa so soundly, I could see that she was a peaceful person, and I was happy for her... :)

It was 6 or 6.30 am in the morning when I could here the birds were chirping so cheerfully. After Noerma did the morning prayer or sholat, William and I went down to play the swing. Well, you could guess that it was my idea, because I love swings! :)

We're just swinging till the sun was completely risen, and the sky was pure white. It was pretty quick we could witness the changing colour from the dark dark blue sky to a very bright white. Then I fell a bit dizzy couse I was so hungry and sleepy.

Then we went back to the unit, and decided to sleep. I could tell that William could sleep well, well all of them also could sleep earlier. I believe that they were so nice to accompany "the could not sleep Devi"at that time... Thank you ya...really... =)

I closed my eyes, it was 7.30am in the morning already, but I did not think I fell asleep, or maybe It was me who felt I was not sleeping... but when I opened my eyes for many times, then suddenly there was Gradi sitting at the living room.

I woke up, then waiting for everybody to get up, we shared our story... Jay woke up and got ready to meet his parents, then Dicky rang the bell...
Oh ya, on the 4th of June, we were suppossed to go to the Sunway Lagoon, but it seemed impossible coz everyone is K.O. hahahha...

Then Noerma woke up.. we were having Billy's mother's homemade brownies as breakfast.. Suggoii! It was awesome for homemade cake! :)

Then Billy woke up, he seemed not okay... he's having sore throat I guess, oh ya... so sorry Billy, I did not aware putting my tupperware on your beloved mouse-pad the other niter, remember? so sorry, next time just nudge me when I did that! :)

Then Dicky, Noerma, Gradi, and I had branch in RM Cafe at Pyramid. Oh... the view was the Sunway Lagoon Theme Park, a bit dissappointed but... that's alrite.. I was so happy already.. =)

gradi's pasta

devi's soup *the very same menu as yesterday's*

Noerma's fried kwe tiaw

Dicky's roti John

Then Gradi and Dicky headed to Low Yat, Noerma and I went back to Palm Ville... before going up to the unit, we stopped at BBQ area, and just enjoyed the wind... it felt great! =)

Going up, and getting ready to leave, Noerma left first for she had to rushed to help Li Lian to open the door... I wanted to wait for my parents so I just waited at the unit and online. Wow, uploading photo there was very fast! :)

Then, Adi and William woke up and it's time for me to fetch my parents at Sun Inn Hotel...
I said my thanks and goodbye to them...
and that was the report of the Frenz Nite at Palm Ville on 3rd June 2009!

Thank you guys, really... I was so happy that we could have the moments... I did not know much about all of you, but we were so clicked at the moment...
May you guys also feel the same... :)
Thank you for the moments! =)
